A “special day” that begins with the starting grids placed right in front of the two Main Hotels: you ride in the North-West of Sardinia to go to an unforgettable arrival in the promontory of Capo Caccia in a breathtaking view over the entire Gulf of Alghero. At the end of the race cyclists will surely be satisfied in the various hotels.

ATTENTION: it is a very fast “Sardinian plain” stage and it is very probable that a large part of the route and on arrival there will be large groups; to limit risks as much as possible, the finish is placed in a short uphill climb.

STARTS – immediately in front of the two Main Hotels, two grids are formed which will then have two different departures (the MedioGiro for first and then the GranGiro). In the grids, there are NO precedents and / or preferences (VIPs, Women and various privileges!): Those who enter the grid first place themselves in front and the others behind!

THE PATH
Just after the start go towards Alghero and after 5 km, in the Fertilia locality, enter the SS291 which remains until the entrance roundabout on the SP 42 (km 17), then go towards Porto Torres to meet the SP 57 (km 35) turning towards Stintino.

At the Pozzo San Nicola roundabout there is refreshment point and path division (km 46then the GranGiro turn right into the SP34 which runs entirely until you pass the built-up area of Stintino going to see “La Pelosa” first and then the panoramic stretch of Punta Falcone and go back to the Pozzo San Nicola roundabout.

Re-entered in the common path, you find again the refreshment point (km 78) and then, continuing in the same road you meet the small village of Palmadula (km 92) and then you go to the panoramic promontory of Capo Caccia.

Beautiful course and even more beautiful the final race: then you return to the hotel in a relaxed way.
