Percorsi ed Autorizzazioni: le Autoritàhanno concesso i permessi con le seguenti variazioni:
- Nella prima tappa del 25 aprile (“I Monti del Gerrei”), per ragioni di sicurezza, l’attraversamento degli abitati di Muravera e di San Vito dovranno farsi a velocità controllata e NON in gara, quindi le griglie di partenza a Torre Salinas saranno due: una griglia per TUTTI i partenti del MedioGiro (Uomini e Donne -di tutte le età-) ed una griglia per TUTTI i partenti del GranGiro (Uomini e donne). Questo schieramento sarà fatto esclusivamente nella prima tappa; nelle restanti tappe le griglie saranno come da programma! Alle 08.45 parte il MedioGiro ed alle 9.00 parte il GranGiro: i ciclisti seguono l’auto del Direttore di Corsa che procede a 25 km orari per circa 14 km attraversando sia Muravera che San Vito. Il Kilometro Zero è posto immediatamente fuori dell’abitato di San Vito e l’arrivo ugualmente sarà fatto fuori dall’abitato.
- Nella quinta tappa (“La Costa di Villasimius”), è stato interdetto al GranGiro il transito sulla strada SS125var per cui il percorso di gara sarà per tutti di Km.117,01 col dislivello di 1.337 metri. I ciclisti sono però stati autorizzati a percorrere la SS554 ed il Prefetto ha disposto la chiusura al traffico automobilistico di entrambe le corsie autostradali!
Ritiro dei numeri di gara: come da programma, nel Villaggio Colostrai dalle 16.00 alle 19.00 si ritirano:
- i numeri personalizzati del GiroSardegna (Gold e Classic) e del Tour che sono compresi tra l’1 ed il 500 (va spillato sulla schiena dell’atleta nella maniera indicata dalla fotografia): questo numero sarà utilizzato per 6 tappe ed i numeri frontali da posizionare sul davanti della bicicletta

- I numeri dorsali del GiroSardegna-Gravel -che segue le regole UCI- si ritireranno il giorno 30aprile dalle 16.00 alle 19.00. Sono due copie comprese tra i numeri 1 e 200 (vanno spillati entrambi sulla schiena dell’atleta nella maniera indicata dalla fotografia); anche gli iscritti al GiroSardegna-Gold dovranno ritirare un nuovo numero di Gara, ma TUTTI i partecipanti NON avranno nella busta-gara il numero frontale

Routes and Authorizations: The authorities have granted permits with the following changes:
- For safety reasons, during the first stage on April 25th (“I Monti del Gerrei”), the race will pass through the towns of Muravera and San Vito at a controlled speed and NOT racing. Therefore, there will be two starting grids in Torre Salinas: one for ALL MedioGiro participants (men and women – of all ages) and one for ALL GranGiro participants (men and women). This grid will be used exclusively for the first stage; for the remaining stages, the grids will be as scheduled! The MedioGiro starts at 8:45 a.m. and the GranGiro starts at 9:00 a.m.: cyclists follow the Race Director’s car, which proceeds at 25 km/h for approximately 14 km, passing through both Muravera and San Vito. Kilometer Zero is located immediately outside the town of San Vito, and the finish line will also be outside the town.
- On the fifth stage (“La Costa di Villasimius“), the GranGiro has been banned from using the SS125var road, so the race route will be 117.01 km for everyone, with an elevation gain of 1,337 meters. However, cyclists have been authorized to use the SS554, and the Prefect has ordered the closure of both lanes of the highway to traffic!
Race number collection: As per the program, the following will be collected in the Colostrai Village from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM:
– personalized GiroSardegna (Gold and Classic) and Tour numbers, which are between 1 and 500 (to be pinned to the athlete’s back as shown in the photograph): this number will be used for 6 stages, and the front numbers will be placed on the front of the bicycle.
Cyclists registered for GiroSardegna-Gravel – which follows UCI regulations – will be collected on April 30th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. These are two copies, numbered 1 through 200 (both must be stapled to the athlete’s back as shown in the photograph). Those registered for the GiroSardegna-Gold will also have to collect a new race number, but ALL participants will NOT receive their front number in their race envelope.
